According to the recall notice, the glass votive candle holders can shatter while in use, posing a fire and laceration hazard to consumers.

The recalled votive holders were sold at Dollar Tree, Dollar Bill$, Deal$ and Dollar Tree Deal$ stores nationwide from December 2010 through April 2011 for about $1.
If you have any of the recalled candle holders, you should immediately stop using the candle holders and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund or contact Dollar Tree at (800) 876-8077.
