Ford Motor Co. has issued a recall pertaining to 2011 model-year Ranger compact pickup trucks, Excursion SUVs from the 2002 through 2005 model years and certain F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks from the 2002 through 2007 model years the Northwest Indiana personal injury law firm of Schlyer & Associates, the Aggressive Trial Lawyers is warning.
According to Ford, about 20,450 vehicles are affected by the recall. Apparently, multifunction switches installed in the vehicles included a part called a slider that could be warped over time. The flawed slider could cause keep the vehicles’ turn signals, tail lights, hazard warning signal flashers and brake lights from working properly. Failure of these lights could increase the risk of a crash according to Ford.
