Rewards Offered For Information About Missing Doctor

Our former client, Dr. Promila Mehta Paul is still missing and her family is offering rewards for information. The Highland and Munster, Indiana police departments need your help to locate her and information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) who are responsible for her death.

As we have noted before, we were Dr. Mehta's personal injury lawyers previously. She was involved in two separate car crashes, including one crash with her ex-husband, Dr. Shashi Damon Paul. Dr. Paul is a pediatrician with an office in Munster, Indiana.

The various Northwest Indiana newspapers The Times and the Post Tribune have published stories about the reward offered for Dr. Mehta. However, lately, there has been little news reported about her situation. Someone knows information that may help the police locate her. The police need your help.

Dr. Mehta lived in Munster, Indiana and her office was located in Highland, Indiana. She was an ophthalmologist who has practiced in the area for many many years.

Son named person of interest in Dr. Mehta's disappearance - Post Tribune

The Post Tribune has also posted a story regarding missing Dr. Mehta.  She lived in Munster and maintained her office in Highland.

Her son Paresh Paul is now also missing.

Missing Doctor May Be Dead - The Times Reports

The Northwest Indiana Times, reports today that law enforcement believes Dr. Promila Mehta Paul is dead.

As you may recall Dr. Promila Mehta Paul was last seen alive on March 21, 2011.  Dr. Mehta was a former client of Schlyer & Associates.  We represented her in two (2) separate personal injury incidents.  One crash involved her former husband, Dr. Shashi Damon Paul.

The Munster & Highland police as well as the FBI have continued to investigate her matter.  Additional details are in the Times article referenced above.

Paresh Paul, the son of the missing Dr. Mehta, who also goes by the name of Paul Fountaine and is known to have used the aliases of Omar Ahmend and Paul Asconte may be involved in her disappearance, police said.
