Missing Doctor May Be Dead - The Times Reports


The Northwest Indiana Times, reports today that law enforcement believes Dr. Promila Mehta Paul is dead.

As you may recall Dr. Promila Mehta Paul was last seen alive on March 21, 2011.  Dr. Mehta was a former client of Schlyer & Associates.  We represented her in two (2) separate personal injury incidents.  One crash involved her former husband, Dr. Shashi Damon Paul.

The Munster & Highland police as well as the FBI have continued to investigate her matter.  Additional details are in the Times article referenced above.

Paresh Paul, the son of the missing Dr. Mehta, who also goes by the name of Paul Fountaine and is known to have used the aliases of Omar Ahmend and Paul Asconte may be involved in her disappearance, police said.

Someone knows information that may help the police locate her.  The police need your help.


Dr. Mehta lives in Munster, Indiana and her office is located in Highland, Indiana.  She is an ophthalmologist who has practiced in the area for many many years.

Police are still looking for her missing light-colored Toyota RAV-4 that may have Indiana license plate DW2031 or California plate 6LHZ319.
