The Chevrolet recall includes 10,344 Impalas built this spring and summer. According to GM, an upper power-steering hose that may be near the catalytic converter, where heat could damage the hose, causing a fire. Dealers will make necessary repairs of necessary, due to the recall.
At the same time, GM has issued a recall of 4,077 Buick LaCrosse cars built this summer since the electronic stability-control systems may not be properly calibrated. If not properly calibrated, it may activate when not necessary, which may result in a crash.
